Travis Kelce’s father has no idea whether his son will accompany Taylor Swift to Sydney, Australia for the Eras Tour concert.
During a Tuesday interview with the Sydney Herald Square, Ed Kelce addressed the topic of potential future travel plans by saying, “Well, see, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney? [He] looked interested.
“He expressed interest in visiting Singapore and Sydney, but was unsure due to his commitments,” she said.
Celebrations, interviews, and appearances have consumed Travis and his teammates since the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. Along with his brother Jason, he presents the weekly podcast “New Heights.”
The tight end has also been looking at screenplays and has just produced a film, so he may be trying his hand at Hollywood.
After the Chiefs’ huge victory over the 49ers, Swift continued her tour by boarding a plane to Melbourne.
Ed said, “They just need to find their way together.” He went on to suggest that the couple’s hectic schedules make it all the more important that they put in the effort to maintain a healthy relationship.
Donna Kelce, Travis’s mother, has hinted at the possibility that her youngest son would join the Grammy winner on tour in the past.
On February 7th, she spoke with People and said, “A lot of us are doing a lot of different things… As far as I can tell, there will be travelling and, most likely, podcasting in Philadelphia.
Supposedly, he will be accompanied abroad by his wife Brittany Mahomes and buddy and teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Travelling across the globe to be with his fiancée, who is also 34 years old, is nothing new for the 34-year-old three-time Super Bowl winner.
Travis went to Argentina to see Taylor play in November, which was two months after they made their relationship debut.
As a result of his performance at the singer’s concert, Swift rewrote the lyrics of her song “Karma” to read, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
From February 23–26, Swift will be performing in Sydney, Australia, before heading to Singapore.
