Monday was the first day that Taylor Swift flew into Sydney for her four-day show run at Accor Stadium this week.

Fans of the 34-year-old megastar are now scared that she might not even make it on stage because of the bad weather in Harbour City.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for heavy rainfall, damaging winds and large hailstones for much of NSW on Friday and Saturday, placing a question mark above Swift's first and second Sydney shows

The Bureau of Meteorology has warned that strong thunderstorms will bring heavy rain, damaging winds, and big hailstones to most of New South Wales on Friday and Saturday. This makes Swift’s first and second Sydney shows uncertain.

According to the Accor Stadium website, 'events will go ahead rain, hail or shine' unless the safety of patrons and the artist is at risk. This leaves the potential for organisers to make last minute adjustments to Swift's shows depending on the severity of the weather. (Pictured: Swift performing in the rain in Sydney, November 2018)

The Accor Stadium website says that events will happen “rain, hail or shine,” as long as the safety of the fans and the artist is not at risk.

Depending on how bad the weather is, this means that Swift’s shows could be changed at the last minute.

Fans are speculating on Reddit about whether these shows will be cancelled or moved. One person wrote, “Since it’s at Accor stadium and they have a rain policy, any chance it gets cancelled if the weather’s bad.”

“I think lightning is the only reason to cancel.” “No one wants TayTay to die at a Sydney concert outside!” wrote someone else. “Because it’s at Accor, it’s not completely hidden.” The rain hasn’t stopped her before, so it would have to be very heavy rain and lightning for her to cancel. Someone else thought, “I think she’s only cancelled two shows on this tour.”

Swift already had a setback on Monday because of the bad weather in Sydney. Her private jet was delayed by up to 30 minutes as she came in from Melbourne.

Swift and her team were last seen leaving Melbourne around noon on Monday. They arrived safely in Sydney at 1:15 p.m.

Five days, from Friday to Monday, she will play four shows that are all sold out. Each night, 80,000 people will be there.

While she is in town, Swift is likely staying at Crown’s presidential house in Sydney’s Barangaroo neighbourhood.

A lot of people are saying Swift is going to bring her boyfriend Travis Kelce, an NRL star, to Australia while she is on her Eras Tour.

Swift stayed in Sydney on Tuesday while her private jet took off again on a trip to Honolulu.

A regular commercial flight from Sydney to Honolulu takes about 10 hours. However, Swift’s luxurious Bombardier Global 6000 is built to fly faster than a regular plane.

It’s possible that Kelce is going to take a flight to Hawaii to get on his girlfriend’s private jet. He was last seen in Kansas City.

He could then fly back to Australia in time to see Swift play later this week at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

Swift’s jet has a cabin with a double bed and fine dining, so the flight is much more luxurious than what Kelce would get on a commercial trip.
