Nobody Will Be Surprised by Anya Taylor-Joy’s New Role
Actress Anya Taylor-Joy is the latest addition to Dior’s roster of worldwide brand ambassadors, following the unveiling of Emma Raducanu. Taylor-Joy, who won awards for her role as Beth Harmon in The Queen’s Gambit, a blockbuster series on Netflix, will represent Maria Grazia Chiuri’s women’s fashion line and Peter Philips’s cosmetics line.
First came Taylor-Golden Globes Joy’s look: a stunning emerald green gown designed by Chiuri, accessorised with a Philips just-bitten lip and a delicate smokey eye.
She went on to rock three more Dior looks: an Athens-based Grecian goddess gown with a matching shimmering lid for the Dior Cruise 2022 show, a canary-yellow shawl and a dramatic red lip for the 2021 Emmys, and, most recently, a shocking pink number and a subdued glam beauty look for her new film, Last Night in Soho, which she promoted at the Venice Film Festival.
There will be many more jaw-dropping looks from Chiuri and Philips as a team, thanks to Taylor-Joy’s new position as ambassador. Keep watching.
