Billie Eilish, 22, won the honors for TV Performance of the Year for her work on Swarm at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, stemming from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California 

The singer-songwriter had been nominated for her role as Eva on the Prime miniseries against a notable group including Meryl Streep, Ayo Edebiri and Jon Hamm 

The singer-songwriter, who is 22 years old, was up against Meryl Streep, Ayo Edebiri, and Jon Hamm for her part as Eva in the Prime miniseries.In her speech, Eilish said, “Wow, that was crazy to see.” “That was crazy to see all those names and then mine. I am here.” This was chosen by fans, and I want to say how thankful, lucky, and blessed I am for that. Thanks a lot.In her acceptance statement, Eilish praised the people who worked with her on the project, such as the show is creators, Donald Glover and Janine Nabers, and its star, Dominique Fishback.

Eilish said, “I just want to say thank you to Donald Glover for being my lifelong inspiration and making me the artist I am today.”Eilish finished by thanking everyone for voting for her and her mother for coaching her in acting.As Loki’s star, Tom Hiddleston, was there to accept the award for Sci-fi/Fantasy show of the year.Jenn Aniston took the stage to give the People’s Icon Award to Adam Sandler.

Aniston called Sandler her “brother from another mother” and “very good friend.” She also said that Sandler was “an extraordinary father, husband, and one of the most loyal friends you could ever, ever have.”‘I mean, seriously, who is more famous than Adam Sandler?’ she asked. There was never a time when Adam was not a part of pop culture.Aniston said of Sandler, “launched a career at that took the comedy box office by storm.” Sandler has shown a lot of different skills over the course of his work.Sandler got up on stage and went on a wild, rambling, and funny rant. He joked that he had been named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
