“Ocean Eyes,” voluminous hair?

On Tuesday, Billie Eilish debuted a vibrant new hairstyle on her Instagram Stories. Her crown had a rainbow-swirling pattern that many fans thought resembled a map from the TV weather report.

The 21-year-old singer of “What Was I Made For” was sitting on a floor when the photo was taken, and she twisted her head away from the lens to reveal a pattern dyed into the roots of her black hair that was red, orange, yellow, and green.

Red dye covers the side of her face and the nape of her neck, and the design, which resembles the kind of map you see showing a storm pattern, reaches down to her right ear.

Eilish, who recently made her massive back tattoo public, donned a white button-up shirt over a denim top and trousers while wearing her black hair pulled up in a loose ponytail.

Her hair looked like a map, and people on Twitter couldn’t help but make fun of it. One person commented, “It’s giving AccuWeather.”

“A cowlick is all that’s left of the storm’s eye,” said another Twitter user.

A third fan commented on Twitter, referencing the National Weather Service and putting a picture of the agency’s weather notice on top of Eilish’s photo, saying, “I support her future in the NWS.”
