As Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Chiefs, attempted to lead his team past the Raiders on Christmas Day, Taylor Swift could be heard yelling for her boyfriend.
The pop sensation arrived at Arrowhead on Monday, escorted by her dad and Santa Claus, after taking a quick flight into Kansas City.
Even though the defending Super Bowl winners found it difficult to penetrate the Raiders’ defence, Kelce remained a vital weapon for them.
At Arrowhead, the tight end’s one particularly spectacular carry had supporters, including his girlfriend, up and dancing. As he carried the ball up field, Swift, sporting a customised No. 87 Christmas hat, was heard yelling, “Travis!” and “Oh my God!”
On Monday, the singer quickly travelled across the nation to watch her lover play for Kansas City.
Swift left early on Christmas morning in order to be in time for the 1pm ET start of the Raiders game.
After taking off from Nashville at around 8 a.m. ET, the singer’s private aircraft landed at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport just after 10 a.m. local time.
After being escorted to the stadium, Swift drove her squad the distance of twelve miles, arriving at Arrowhead at eleven in the morning. Alongside Santa Claus, who was wearing a Chiefs hat and carrying a sack, she was wheeled into the stadium in a VIP golf cart.
“Happy Christmas!” While Santa Claus rang a bell, Swift stated as she entered the stadium. As she approached her suite, she was greeted with screaming admirers. Swift was spotted there with a Santa hat with Kelce’s number, 87, embroidered on it.
Andrea and Scott, the singer’s parents, were also in the convoy. While the Chiefs defeated the Patriots last week at Gillette Stadium, Swift’s father was also present. He was sporting a Chiefs jumper.
He was dressed for the game on Monday in a Christmas sweater and cap. It is thought to be the first game that Andrea Swift and her daughter had gone to together.
Swift and Kelce are reportedly spending Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve together in Kansas City. The Chiefs return to action on December 31st when they play the Bengals. These reports were made earlier this week. She is anticipated to attend both games at Arrowhead.
Since her relationship with tight end Kelce came to light earlier in the season, the singer has become a regular fixture in the Chiefs stadium.
Swift attended the Chiefs’ most recent home game, which ended in a loss to the Buffalo Bills, as well as last week’s victory over the Patriots from the opulent seats at Gillette Stadium.
The Chiefs ended their losing streak last week with a victory in New England after they had dropped their previous six games in a row.
The team’s quest for a fourth Super Bowl participation in five years has occasionally taken a backseat to Kelce and Swift’s romance.
However, the Chiefs made an effort to strengthen their bond over the holidays. The star tight end’s two No. 87 jerseys are up for auction in Kansas City.
The uniforms, however, have been altered to represent Kelce’s new romance. One reads “Swelce” on the back, while the other says “Traylor.” They are available for purchase until Christmas Day.
