Rihanna elegantly concluded a busy Halloween weekend.
The 33-year-old pop star visited her brother Rory’s Halloween party in New York City on Sunday night, dressed elegantly in black and white.
The celebrity, who was born in Barbados, arrived at the celebration wearing a black gown with white highlights patterned on it and a textured black coat with white stripes.
At the event in New York City, the vocalist of Umbrella wore her dark hair down and parted, black sunglasses, a minimal makeup look with black lipstick, and diamond earrings. She accessorized the look with open-toe heels.
The Grammy-winning musician received praise for a previous outfit she donned, which was a recreation of a style that rapper Gunna popularized during New York Fashion Week in September.
Posing like the musician, she wore an all-black outfit consisting of a mesh top by Dior with shorts, knee-high Rick Owens boots, and sunglasses by Louis Vuitton.
Gunna praised the style icon on Instagram for her Halloween tribute, commenting, “Nawww U OVERLY WON,” in response to the image.
Rihanna has had a busy autumn season. She oversaw a show in September for her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand.
In an interview with People, Rihanna discussed the significance that diversity has always held for the company.
She remarked, “That’s not a “right now” thing.” Sad to say, most brands are experiencing this at the moment. But I’ve always been like that. That’s how I’ve always worked on all of my creative endeavors, be it lingerie or makeup.
When I see people interacting with my brand, I get incredibly excited. It is not as though I approached it with the idea of “let’s make a movement.” The fact that some ladies are feeling as though they are seeing themselves on stage for the first time makes me very happy. We’ve accomplished more than we truly set out to accomplish if we can build on it.
