Dwayne ‘The Rock’Johnson, With Hair, Looks Terrifyingly Similar to Jason Momoa as AI Reveals What ‘The Rock’ Will Look Like in Moana Live-Action Remake

Dwayne Johnson has been a part of several acclaimed movies in some way or another. After performing varied roles on-screen and giving voice to animated characters behind the scenes as well, the actor is now gearing up for a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 2016 hit animated movie Moana. Fans are also curious to see The Rock in an entirely different look, and it seems like AI is helping fans imagine the star in his character of Maui.

Johnson has previously lent his voice in Moana for the Polynesian demigod, Maui. This work of the Walt Disney Animation Studios again stood out not only in receiving critical acclaim but in being box office success as well. Now, it’s time for the fans to see Maui in live-action.

Dwayne Johnson, in an entirely different look as presented by AIEarlier this month, during Disney’s shareholders’ meeting, The Great One announced a new live-action remake of Moana. In his announcement tweet, he mentioned how giving a voice to Maui changed his life. It was evident that the film’s story has touched him immensely. From his tweet, one can easily understand how personal this film is for Johnson.

However, before the studios release any picture of The Rock as Maui, taking advantage of artificial intelligence, the surprising images are in front of us. The result might take fans back to wonder whether Jason Momoa and The Brahma Bull are cousins or not.

The two actors are completely unlike from one another in real life. However, if one comes across these AI-generated pictures of Johnson with long hair, akin to the Aquaman star, one may find themselves in a difficult situation.

Fans must have been even more excited than before to see this remake on the big screen soon, given the fascinating outcome of AI. It is anticipated to open in theaters in late 2024 or early 2025, despite the lack of an official release date.

Do you know what inspired The People’s Champion to choose to voice Maui’s character before seeing it on the big screen? Did he fall in love with the character because of her distinctiveness or because of a personal connection?

The Rock’s sentimental connection to the animated movie Moana

The Rock discussed his thoughts on the Aloha Spirit, a character he voiced in the film Moana, in an exclusive conversation with Female First.

“There are several iterations,” he stated. He is a captivating shape-shifter. He is more than a person. When we heard about Maui’s mythology as children, we were astounded. It’s a great pleasure to play him.

In addition to his affections for the character, Johnson has a personal connection to both the character and the movie’s culture.

The Samoan dynasty’s customs were influenced by the same Pacific islands that provided inspiration for the Moana myth. Fans were therefore not surprised to see Johnson return to this project, despite the fact that many may find his AI-generated appearance surprising.
