While out and about in New York City on Wednesday, Taylor Swift once more maintained a low profile.
The 33-year-old hitmaker wore an all-blue outfit that highlighted her long, toned legs and gave her a cool, relaxed vibe.
She was observed navigating the congested downtown roadway and getting into a waiting black SUV.
Just one day prior, Taylor was spotted leaving for her recording studio in the Big Apple, even as her ex-boyfriend, frontman of The 1975 Matty Healy, was spotted giving his new girlfriend a lot of hugs and kisses.
During her outing, Taylor accentuated her trim figure with a navy blue polo shirt featuring a white trip on the collar and a crimson embroidered emblem across the chest.
She accessorized it with a pair of black denim shorts that accentuated her impressive 5 feet 11 inches of height.
The All Too Much singer added a slim red Mansur Gavriel handbag to her ensemble, which contrasted the dark pieces and gave the impression that she had stepped out of a primary-colored 1960s Jean-Luc Godard film.
Taylor had fashionable bangs that almost obscured her round-framed black spectacles, and her gorgeous golden hair was fashioned down in big waves that fell over her shoulders.
As usual, her face was flawlessly makeup, with a hint of red over her full lips.
Her rocker Matty was spotted on Tuesday having a lot of PDA with the tattooed model Gabbriette Bechtel while they were out in New York City, which is only a few blocks away from the recording studio she visited, but she didn’t seem bothered.
Since 2014, Taylor and Matty Head have been friends and admirers of each other. In late 2022, he disclosed that he had worked on a Midnights song, but it was never released. This suggested that their creative connection had progressed further.
But when Matty was spotted going to a few of her shows on her popular Eras Tour later in 2023, after she had broken up with boyfriend Joe Alwyn, the two seemed to be developing a love partnership.
The two were seen holding hands in May, but as her supporters brought up what appeared to be offensive comments he had made in the past, the talk of their purported romance fizzled out.
They were said to have split up by June, when their ostensibly casual romance appeared to have ended.
Only a few days prior to Taylor’s reported sighting in New York, Olivia Rodrigo, another friend of Taylor’s, issued a grudging denial when fans mistook her song Vampire for a reference to her alleged fight with Taylor.
‘How do I explain this?’ was the singer’s first response when The Guardian questioned her about the rumors. then went on, ‘I mean, I never want to declare who any of my songs are about.’
‘I’ve never done that before in my career and probably won’t,’ she continued. It’s preferable, in my opinion, to avoid limiting a song’s subject matter. It startled me much when others believed that.
Notably, though, the response did not specifically refute Taylor’s status as the vampire’s subject.
The two singers’ fans have conjectured that they may have split up after Olivia was compelled to give Taylor royalties and name her as a songwriter on Deja Vu after it appeared that she had lifted a tune from her song Cruel Summer.
Though it’s unclear if Swift always meant to give credit to the other artists or was compelled to do so after the fact to avoid legal difficulties, Rodrigo already gave Swift credit on another song on her debut album for interpolating one of her melodies. She also gave Paramore credit on a third tune.
Taylor has already sold out arenas all over the US, and she is going to start booking huge overseas tour dates. She will also soon be closing theaters.
The singer recently revealed that she would be releasing a concert video that was captured on her current tour. Now, a number of exhibition insiders have told The Hollywood Reporter that they think her film has a great chance of being a big smash during a period when movie theaters and multiplexes are scrambling to draw patrons back.
The sources claim that her film’s US and Canadian premieres, which start on October 13 and last for at least a few weeks, might bring in over $100 million.
Given the exceptional demand and strong presales, they wouldn’t even rule out the Shake It Off singer earning over $150 million in North America.
Theater owners are probably breathing a sigh of relief as fresh contract negotiations with the writers’ and actors’ unions, SAG-AFTRA and WGA, have been postponed due to the AMPTP’s persistent stubbornness. The AMPTP represents major studios and streamers.
In addition to pushing for more pay, the unions are trying to stop studios from using artificial intelligence (AI) to replace writers or actors and to make companies disclose their streaming data so that a more fair residual system can be created.
Although it will probably be available at all cinemas, the Taylor Swift documentary is being distributed by the AMC theater network, which is a significant boost to the chain’s reputation after its recent struggles.
