“This is adorable,” a fan comments.
Online detectives think they have captured the precise moment Travis Kelce saw Taylor Swift during his Sunday game.
On September 24, fans observed that the “Fifteen” singer was present at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home game versus the Chicago Bears. Although Swift was seen cheering early on in the Kelce family suite by both the home audience and the Arrowhead Stadium crowd, the NFL tight end reportedly didn’t notice her until after kickoff.
On X, the previous Twitter platform, Sophia (@youreinIcve) shared video of what she believed to be Kelce’s first glimpse of the Grammy winner inside the arena. His eyes were fixed on the top of the stadium when he was pictured next to Chiefs coach Andy Reid. Sophia panned in to see Kelce’s response on her TV.
“What are you staring at, Trav?” Her caption appears on screen.
Kelce’s face lit up instantly when the commentator’s voice boomed over the camera, seemingly noticing something. A smirk played at the corner of his mouth and he said briefly. Nobody could hear what Kelce said since the sideline audio was muted. But Sophia and other users appeared to have an idea on the platform.
Sophia asked, “DID HE SAY: ‘Damn, she’s right there?'”
With over 3.9 million views to far, the video has drawn the attention of numerous critics who speculated that they saw Kelce staring at Taylor Swift next to his mother Donna.
A admirer offered her own perspective, writing, “Or like: ‘damn she’s really here.'”
According to a user on the internet, Kelce said, “Damn. She’s amazing. She is there, exactly.
Did he cry at all? He’s too genuine for this,” a different admirer commented.
One woman made the joke, “He looks like a prince in love with his princess that is in the castle looking at him.”
One ecstatic commenter said, “This is so cute… I’m really glad for Taylor! I’m all in, and I wish them nothing but the best!
While fans gushed about the purportedly adorable moment between the rumored couple, Kelce’s coach said he was unfazed by the famous person present.
In a press conference held after the game, Reid joked that he had acted as a middleman between his player and Swift. Therefore, he wasn’t as surprised when he saw her personally supporting the squad by raising her hands in the air.
Reid responded, “You know what, I’ve met her before,” to a reporter who asked about Swift’s whereabouts. “I prepared them,”
In addition to Reid, Patrick Mahomes also spoke on the matter, implying that he had served as Kelce’s sidekick throughout the game.
In an interview with sportswriter Erin Andrews, the quarterback acknowledged, “I heard she was in the house. There was a slight pressure I felt. I was aware that I needed to give Travis the ball.
