Humble billionaire: Rihanna donates to homeless veterans in her hometown silently

Despite having two young sons, Rihanna gave a “significant” donation to help homeless and injured veterans in Los Angeles. She made touch with Sennett Devermont, the organization’s creator, at the Always For The People Foundation.

However, the insider mentioned, "She's been very supportive even as a new mom." Previously, the nine-time Grammy winner visited veterans at the VA Medical Center, formerly known as Veterans Row, in West Los Angeles while pregnant with RZA in 2022. At the time, an insider informed Page Six that she displayed genuine interest and concern. She had arrived dressed casually in sweats and didn't document her philanthropic visit. "She was there to genuinely listen to the veterans living on the property," a source added. "She spent hours listening to their concerns and issues, without a camera crew or PR."

Her kind donation made it possible for Devermont to give away a variety of supplies to people in need, including hygiene kits, clothing, food, and more. Although Rihanna has traditionally been involved, the obligations of caring for her new babies prevented her from being present this time.

Rihanna showed up with a van full of sleeping bags, blankets, thermals, flashlights, toilet paper, water, bike locks, and mini safes. She only took photos when people asked her to take a picture with her. According to the publication, she reportedly spent hours unloading the van even while she was pregnant.
